From September 25th to November 15th, 2026, the cultural project invites you to enter a unique space for exchange between contemporary creation and exceptional craftsmanship.

The exhibition is unfolding in three chapters. Les Maisons is an installation space designed by Studio Adrien Gardère, introducing the unique savoir-faire of the eleven Maisons d’art resident at le19M: Atelier Lognon, Desrues, Goossens, Lemarié, Lesage, Lesage Intérieurs, Maison Michel, Massaro, Montex, Paloma, Studio MTX.

A group exhibition, A Sense of Touch (触Chù碰Pèng), presents artisanal creations by the Maisons d’art resident at le19M in dialogue with contemporary creative practices. A Sense of Touch welcomes a diverse range of creatives from China and France:  Mathilde ALBOUY, BI Rongrong, Diane CHÉRY, Jenny CHOU, CHU Guangliang, Mathilde DENIZE, DING Yi, Dousa Textile Cooperative, Julian FARADE, Deborah FISCHER, FU Xiaotong, GONG Kehai, GUO Hang, HONG Zhangliang,  LAI Lei, LEI Lei, LIN Tianmiao, QIAN Lihuai, SHEN Ye, SHEN Yuan, SU Yong, TAN Jing, TANG Wei, WANG Haiyan, WANG Mingjie, WANG Yongxun, WEI Libo, WU Guanzhen, WU Jian'an, YIN Xiuzhen, ZHANG Buhua, ZHANG Ruyi, ZHANG Zhongyu, ZHAO Jianhua.

In resonance with the landscape of contemporary craft unfolded in A Sense of Touch, la Galerie du 19M SHANGHAI also presents a new edition of Lesage. 100 Years of Fashion and Decoration, developed jointly by Lesage and Émilie HAMMEN.

During the exhibition, a program of talks, workshops and creative encounters for visitors of all ages will also take place. Welcome to a joyful and collective experience celebrating the best craftsmanship of our time.
